TS Foods, one of Northern Ireland’s leading frozen and chilled food companies, has been shortlisted for this years Northern Ireland Food and Drink Association (NIFDA) Awards.
The family-owned Castlewellan based company is in the running with two entries in the Medium Product Category. The products – Chicken Olives and Hot Deli Sausage Rolls – are part of the recently launched hot food counter range for Tesco NI which were created specifically for the local palate.
Commercial Director Joanne Molloy said:
“We are delighted that our products have made it this far in the awards process. With the NI Year of Food just over we are certain that the competition is harder than ever this year, so to get this far is a massive achievement.”
Joanne Molloy, who is also the daughter of the company’s founders, added:
“We’ve been working with Tesco NI for over 20 years so this is a strong endorsement of the work we do in partnership with them.”
“We now look forward to attending the awards ceremony and being a part of an evening that celebrates the continued success all members of the food and drink industry in NI”.
NIFDA is committed to helping Northern Ireland food and drink companies compete successfully both locally and internationally.
Their bi-annual awards recognise those companies that have demonstrated growth and innovation over the last two years, with this years awards ceremony takes place on the 24th of March at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belfast.
