The renowned Institute of Directors Northern Ireland (IoD NI) Director of the Year Awards took place this year at Belfast’s Merchant Hotel where Managing Director of Castlewellan based TS Foods, Joanne Molloy, received special recognition.
The awards are designed to celebrate strong leadership, corporate governance and to recognise excellence across the business community.

While Ashely McCulla of McCulla transport picked up the main award for the category, Joanne received a ‘Highly Commended’ award due to the standard of her entry.
The award was sponsored by BDO, with their Tax and Wealth Management Partner Maybeth Shaw commenting:
‘We were greatly impressed with the standard of all entries and it’s hugely encouraging to see the standard of leadership we have here in Northern Ireland.
Joanne Molloy in particular deserved acknowledgement and as such we were delighted to present her with a Highly Commended Award due to the standard of her entry which was reflective of her outstanding contribution to the company over the last 12 months.’
